Concept Statement
Exile's Adventure will take the player to a mysterious world, where the player is tasked with defeating all the monsters in the dark dungeons for finding the keys to the ancient treasure.
Genres
This game is a 2D top-down action – adventure with some RPG elements. Firstly, it is an action game because during most time of the game, the player have to battle with the monsters by using a hack and slash combat system. In addition, this game not only have a series of levels but also a health system, which are 2 key things to made an action game. Secondly, it is an adventure game because it fully covers all the basic elements of this type of genre like a storyline, numerous characters, inventory system and dialogue and quest. Finally, there are still some RPG features which are included in this game: a leveling system with stats of the character and a small crafting system.

Influences
The concept of Exile's Adventure is mainly inspired by a Korean comic called Solo Levelling, which talk about a world where hunters are responsible for protecting the world by hunting monsters inside the dungeons. Therefore, the storyline of this game is quite similar with the plot of the comic, but also have a little different in the goal, which make this game is more simple and easier to win.

In term of gameplay, Path of Exile is an ideal icon. It is a typical ARPG game with all the essentials of this game genre so most of the features in Exile’s Adventure is influence by it such as combat system, inventory system, dialogue, …

Concept Creation Process
The initial idea of Exile’s Adventure is a casual dungeon game without adventure elements, which only allow player to batlle with monsters and then get the drop item from them to improve the self power. But after consulting the idea of some similar games, I realized that my game could be better if it had a real end game goal so I decided to add some of the common features of an adventure game like storyline, quest system and dialogue to it. Luckily, I have read the Solo Levelling series before, which I have mention aboved, and it really inspired me a lot when I was working with adventure stuffs. Finally, I completed the concept of Exile's Adventure by adding to it some small features like crafting, leveling and trading system to make player get more fun when playing.
Targer Audience and Competitive Analysis
The target audience of Exile’s Adventure are both men and women from teenager to adult, who have passionate on playing action game. They would be interested in this game concept because it can fully satisfy the essentials of an action game such as the combat system and the character's skills. In addition, the game has a storyline throughout and many dialogues with NPCs, so it is also suitable for those who like to play adventure games. Moreover, this game concept has a lot of levels with different difficulty from easy to hard so it also cater for both casual and hardcore player.
There are too many games have the same genre with Exile’s Adventure now so the competition will be fierce. The strength of this game is having a good storyline, which will make it more special than other ones because most of them are just concentrating on battling and grinding the character. In contrast, too focusing on telling story make that game really weak in some stuffs like the skills and the animations of character.

Treatment
You are a kind hunter in a mysterious world. One day, an ancient power had opened a lot of dungeons in your world and they are full of dangerous monsters. To protect the earth, the supreme gods have assigned you a mission to enter the dungeons in search of clues about ancient treasures, the only thing that can purge these dungeons forever.
You will begin the journey with just an old sword. By defeating monsters, you will gain a certain amount of experience, which will help you level up and improve your basic stats. Not only that, everytime you destroy the dungeon boss, it will always have a chance to drop rare items as well as gold, which can be used to upgrade the power of your current equipment. Remember, the dungeon's power will increase, so improving your equipment will make it easier for you to clear these dungeons.

Art Style
All the art of Exile’s Adventure will follow a typical fantasy pixel art pattern, which is a thing very common in 2D Roguelike game.
The game is mostly used the tileset collection of DragonDePlatino on OpenGameArt for all the stuff include the characters ,the enemies and the items
