Weekly Devlog 6: Updates/planned updates based upon Testing Session
WELCOME TO WEEKLY DEVLOG OF EXILE'S ADVENTURE.
This week, we're going to have a devlog that's a bit different from the rest. Because this is a learning project and its due date is next week, so this week my classmates and I had a test run to test all the functions in the game (The feedback of the test session have been summarized in detail in the devlog game testing and if you have time, please read through it). Therefore, in this devlog, I'm going to use those summaries to plan some future updates for the next week before I have to submitted it. Here is the list of them:
Update 1 : Sound
One of the things I get the most from the feedback during the testing session is that my game would be so much better if it had sound. So I'm planning to add sound to the game next week and hope it will be fully completed.

Update 2 : More skills for bosses and player
In the feedback form, I asked if the player and boss should get more skills and more than 75% of the comments said it was necessary. So for the next week, I'll be working on them to add 1 or 2 more skills for each.

Update 3 : Completing the crafting system
The crafting system until now is still in beta mode. Basically, it really works, but there are still quite a few bugs that need to be fixed in the whole system. So this is also something that I will need to work on more next week to be able to come up with a complete crafting system before the game is submitted.

Update 4: Fixing current bugs
Finally, during the testing session, I got quite a lot of feedback about bugs in the game such as boss teleport skills that can block player movement, etc. So the last update I want to complete in the next week will be to fix all major bugs that affect the gameplay.

That's all I plan to do next week. Because the number of updates is actually quite a lot, so next week will definitely be a very busy week for me and 80-90% of what has been planned above is an acceptable number. Moreover, although next week will be the deadline for this assignment, but I will continue to improve it in the future to make the game is more fun and playable so please look forward for it .
