Documentation + User Guide
Hi everyone, this week I released a final build for Exile's Adventure to submit for a learning project. So, this devlog will be a documentation that summarizes everything that the game owns up to the current build.
How well my final game compares to vision laid out in my concept document ?
For comparison, my game will now only be around 60-70% of what I wrote in the game concept. Specifically, some important features are still missing like crafting system, leveling system, and also some bosses. The main reason for this shortfall was that I didn't have enough time to do them since my game was a very large project. However, it still doesn't affect the gameplay of Exile's Adventure much because I think the most basic of an RPG game has been put into this game. So I'll update the missing pieces later when I have some free time.
How testing session influence to my game ?
Overall, the testing session has a small impact on my game. As I have summarized in the previous devlog about what I have learned after the testing session, there are 4 main updates ( I will leave the link here so you can read it more clearly : https://pikka1812.itch.io/exiles-adventure/devlog/256405/weekly-devlog-6-updates... ). In those 4 updates, I have completed 3 in this week: music, added skills for the boss and fixed some bugs. With other elements of my feedback form like art, or controller, I received very positive feedback, so I decided to keep them.
